During the design process at Ventura Homes we detail out every aspect we can, to create a “perfect” finished product. When our technical drawings are done for construction, the next step is drawing interior elevations to show the most realistic representation of the space. This process helps us and our clients visualize the space, but also ensures that the design is cohesive throughout the home.
*The following drawings and images are from separate projects.*
INTERIOR ELEVATION | Farm House Master Bath
FINISHED PRODUCT | Farm House Master Bath
MATERIALS USED: Quartz Counter Tops | Painted Shiplap | Marble Accent Tile | Chrome Plumbing Fixtures | Matte Black Metal Mirrors | Matte Black Hardware | Matte Black Light Fixtures | Painted Cabinets
This is a great representation of a luxury farmhouse Master Bath. The shiplap and the marble tile worked well together to create a subtle accent wall without being over powering. Even though we used a monochromatic color pallet, this space was not lacking in detail.
INTERIOR ELEVATION | French Country Kitchen
FINISHED PRODUCT | French Country Kitchen
MATERIALS USED: Quartz Counter Tops | Stucco Vent hood | Stained Floating Shelves | Painted Brick| Stainless Steel Appliances | Satin Nickel Hardware| Satin Nickel Light Fixtures| Painted Cabinets
When I created this elevation, our client wanted two different patterns of brick for the backsplash, but was not sure how it would look together. Once we adjusted the drawing and laid out where each pattern would stop and start, our client was not hesitant about the idea of two patterns any more.
INTERIOR ELEVATION | Rustic Fireplace
FINISHED PRODUCT | Rustic Fireplace
MATERIALS USED: Gray Stone Mix | Stained Mantel | Cute Limestone | Vinyl Plank | Painted Trim
We wanted to do something out of the box for this fireplace, so we came up with the idea of creating a balanced fireplace that was not centered in the room. To balance out the room we made firewood storage that was the exact same size as the firebox, and centered the two on the wall. The fireplace wall feels symmetrical without being exactly the same on both sides. We loved how substantial this fireplace feels without the heavy stone going all the way to the ceiling.
INTERIOR ELEVATION | Farm House Kitchen
FINISHED PRODUCT | Farm House Kitchen
MATERIALS USED: Quartz Counter Tops | Two Toned Painted Cabinets | Brass Light Fixtures | Brass Hardware | White Subway Tile | Stained Floating Shelves | Painted Barn Door | Stainless Steel Appliances
Instead of using a generic pantry door in the kitchen we wanted to capitalize on the theme with a barn door. By incorporating a unique barn door, it creates a point of interest in the kitchen and tied the Farm House theme together. We always try and utilize the space as best we can without compromising on storage or design details. Behind the barn door are floor to ceiling stained floating shelves that provide ample storage.
INTERIOR ELEVATION| Paneled Fireplace
FINISHED PRODUCT | Paneled Fireplace
MATERIALS USED: Quartz Fireplace Surround | Vinyl Plank | Painted Paneling | Painted Trim
For this fireplace we wanted something clean and elegant. The applied painted paneling and the solid surface of Carrara Quartz creates a light and cozy feature for the main living space. It is simple and timeless.
