Hi friends, it’s Kortni!! I’m hoping to brighten up your Thursday with a tour of a sweet French Country home! First off, let’s start with talking about how adorable this Buzz Lightyear is. Wouldn’t you all agree with me?
Exposed wood beams, a large stone fireplace, and wide plank floors all mixed with natural fresh accents. Pulling in grays, creams and taupes makes for a sweet cottage home. Let’s take a look!
My love affair with exposed brick is still going strong thanks to this gorgeous French Country home. The one thing that really spoke to me about this house was the adorable cottage style, with a clean and simple structure. There are elements throughout the whole house that are displayed along with the neutral white walls. The paint color is a lighter, crisp tone to help open up the space.
The kitchen and dining room open up to the living room, therefore we continued with the same hardware and finishes. The open floor plan and fun interiors make for the perfect home for family get-togethers and entertaining!!
The kitchen is the workhorse and entertaining hub of any home. This kitchen is for anyone that loves to cook (or doesn’t like to cook like me) with the large counter space. the large island is great for entertaining or lining up the kids for a great meal.
I’ve been a wee bit obsessed with all the exposed beams in all of our homes. The exposed beams in this cottage are a focal point throughout the whole home from the entry, dining and then again in the master bedroom making for a cozy and sweet feel.
A cool and relaxing Master Bedroom creates the perfect retreat, but wait until you see the Master Bathroom. The large soaking tub is the best feature. Truthfully, I love all of it but I’m a little partial to this huge soaking tub to able to relax and soak away all of your worries from the day.
One of my favorite features in this house is the bonus room. I am completely obsessed with the ceiling detail and painted brick in this room. It opens up the space and draws your attention into the room while still allowing the room to feel bright and warm.
Well that’s all from me today! I hope you love this house as much as I do! Now go and enjoy as much candy as I will tonight. Happy Halloween!!
